The Nintendo Wii system boasts 512 MB of internal flash memory, a slot for SD memory expansion & two USB 2.0 ports. At the heart of the Nintendo Wii is an IBM developed processing chip code-named "Broadway". An ATI graphics chipset code-named "Hollywood" to deliver stunning performance and instead of the ususal tray, the Nintendo Wii uses a single, 'self-loading' media bay that will play both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system, in addition to Nintendo GameCube discs. But the real 'revolution' in this system, though, is its controller, called the Wii Remote.
Just like a TV remote, the Nintendo Wii's new remote has been designed to be easy to use by beginners and pros alike. On-board sensors determine the Wii Remote's position in 3D space, which means that racing-game steering and a tennis swing, for example, are done through movements of your hand rather than by just your thumbs. There is even a tiny speaker built into the Wii Remote providing an interactive surround sound experience. The controller also has a 'Rumble' feedback feature and an expansion port for use with accessories, such as the Nunchuck, which adds an analog thumbstick and trigger buttons. A cleaver adapter that fits over the Wii's remote is available for those who prefer the feel of a traditional controller.

Xbox 360 is the second video game console to be produced by Microsoft, and was developed in cooperation with IBM, ATI, and SiS. Its Xbox Lives ervice allows players to compete online and download content such as arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows, and movies. The Xbox 360 also has three USB slots and both HD digital and standard audio visual outputs, which can power games in widescreen at 720p and 1080i resolution, complete with anti-aliasing functionality. This will result in much higher resolution games than ever seen before: the beginning of the HD (high definition) era.
